There are hundreds of them in the harbour. I got a sea lion lesson from one of the boat guys while I was there. He told me how troublesome they are. They break docks, scare tourists, destroy boats, eat all the fish. He said they were not there first, but because they are endangered, no one can get rid of them or hurt them. I find them to be like the buffalo. Neat to watch, but very annoying around a daily routine.
